Weight management

Thoughtful care for a long-term goal.

Weight is shaped by many things — sleep, stress, genetics, medications, routine. A good assessment looks at the whole picture before anything else.

The assessment

Led by a clinician, start to finish.

Your history, in context

In the portal you'll share your health history, current medications and goals. A licensed provider reads it all.

Questions, not assumptions

The provider may ask follow-up questions or request recent lab results before making any recommendation.

A decision that's theirs to make

Whether a prescription is suitable is decided by the provider — based on your health, not on a request or a form. Many plans focus on nutrition, activity and follow-up.

Ongoing check-ins

If you begin a plan, your provider can follow up with you through the portal.

About compounded medications. Compounded medications are prepared by a 503A compounding pharmacy and are not equivalent to branded products. If one is discussed, your provider can explain the differences.

How it works

From curiosity to a conversation.

  1. 01

    Explore your options

Read about the care DoorMD offers, then start in the secure patient portal. Questions about your health are asked there — not on this site.

  2. 02

    A licensed provider reviews

A provider licensed in your state reviews the information you share and may follow up with questions before deciding anything.

  3. 03

    Your plan, if appropriate

If the provider decides a treatment is suitable, next steps and any orders appear in your portal. If it isn't, the provider may talk with you about other options.
